Life is a circle, but not a simple circle. That would be far too easy. Instead we go round and round, sometimes looping back in the opposite direction, sometimes moving in lines that are close together, sometimes far apart. We ebb and flow, start and stutter, always moving toward or away.
That is what this sculpture says to me. The circle is grounded, but fluid. It is heavy and light at the same time. You can see through and beyond; you can follow a course, but there is no real beginning or end. It is constant motion and constant stillness at the same time.
Life is a circle. Feel free to jump in at any time.
